In this term, we will experience many exciting opportunities through which everyone of you will have a chance to shine. Whether you are a good writer, a computer genius or a leader, you will find yourself making a significant contribution to this class.
If you keep your mind open, you will learn many techniques including writing, critical reading and technology.
Remember you are a member of a community. Always carry the spirit of sharing, being responsible and reliable.
Together we'll reach the following goals:
1st Goal: In this term, students will focus on the studies of three genres: poetry, fiction and non-fiction. They will learn the critical process of reading poetry and stories and learn the techniques of composing their original poems and stories based on a theme. Their finished creative and analytical work enter the World of Expressions contest.
The selected work will enter the following contests-
2nd Goal: Students will work in a small collaborative group to create a multi-media website that will enter the ThinkQuest contest.
3rd Goal: The class will create a DVD Yearbook for Bergtraum Class 2007
