  2. What traits do you see in him that you feel would make him a President of the United States one day?
  3. What make him different from his peers?
  4. Do you see any connection between you and young Lincoiln?

Explain what you know about Obama's $800 billion economic stimulus package ? What's your position on this issue? Do you agree or disagree that goverment should play a greater role in markets and banks ? Explain.

Watch the 4th part of the film about Lincoln and discuss in what ways Lincoln kept the Union together instead of letting it split into to separate countries?

HW#9

Write a short essay in which you describe what you have leanred from the Lincoln film and how you'll apply them to your own life.

"About Me" Project

If you have a digital camera, you'll take 7-10 pictures and upload them into photobucket.com and store your picture there.

If you don't have a digital camera, find 7- 10 photos in the Internet that reflect your life.

Organize the photos in a way that they can tell a story about you. For each photo, you will write a caption and explain what it is about.

When we return from the vacation, we'll use Movie Maker to turn your photo story into a short film about you. If you don't have the photos ready, you won't be allowed to use the Movie Maker.
