Part I: History of Religion (both past and present) - Wars, Persecution, Massacre , Bombing (completed by Friday 04/24/09)

1. Create a timeline to show the wars and persecution caused by religion
2. Write a reflection on how you feel about what religion has done to the world due to the wars and persecution.

Part II: Introduction to major religions- Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism (Completed by Tuesday April 28, 2009)

1. Write a couplet(poem) to introduce the teaching of each religion ( 4 couplets in total)
2. Write a free style poem( or rap) to  show the connection( similarities) of the four religions.

Part III: Current Focus of Study- Regional conflicts in the world caused by religious reason (Completed byFriday May 1 , 2009)

1. Show a map where religious conflicts occur frequently
2. Describe the cause of the conflict and the consequence of it.
3. Read an article about the regional conflict due to religious difference. Use the voice of a teenager who lives there and suffers the loss of both parents to tell a story about how he/she lost the parents and his/her feelings & wishes.

Part IV: Creative Writing – Write an acrostic poem or narrative poem to promote the idea of “Religion and Peace” and how people with different religious beliefs should live peacefully together. (Completed by Monday May 4, 2009)

Part V: Collage- Make a collage that illustrates the theme of “religion and peace”. (Completed by Friday May 8, 2009)

Part IV: Create an INTERVIEW(video)about what I knew before about religion to what I have learned from the project.(Completed by Monday May 11, 2009)

Part IIV: Create a small group website that holds all the writing above and the collage from every group member. (Completed by Monday May 18,2009).
