Regardless of our race or religion, we all want and need such social harmony."

2. “Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you” . Is it a couplet?

A couplet is a two-lined poem that rhymes. Each line is the same length.
Think about your topic. Decide what you want to say about it in your poem.
Write your first sentence.
Make a list of words that rhymes with the last word in your sentence.
Write your second sentence. Does it rhyme with the first line? Does it have
the same number of syllables?
