Week 11 (04/27-05/01)
RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE AWARD
Awards for Division 2 entries in both
the Internet Challenge & the Digital Media Competition
This award is designed to honor the Division 2/3 teams that create the best website AND the best video that celebrates the diversity and understanding of religious beliefs from all viewpoints. The entry must promote tolerance and compassion of faith-based communities so that we may end the unjustified fear and hatred between peoples of different backgrounds.
Students are encouraged to use the power of technology to teach others about different religions. Although the award description is limited to Islam, Christianity and Judaism, entries may address any and all religions including atheism and agnosticism.
The equivalent of First Place prizes will be given to the best website in the Internet Challenge and to the best video in the Digital Media Competition.
