Describe 5 symbols that you can use to represent you. Explain why.

2. What elements are there in a story?

HW# 12 Write a complete story that describes an non-forgettable experience you have had. It does not matter whether the story soundes important or not as long as it is important to you. Turn the simple describtions into paragraphs. Each photo needs at least a paragraph to explain what it means.

  2. Copy Daily Test Prep( question and answer)
  3. Read and copy ONE news summary
  4. On this Day in History ( after reading, copy down one snippet of On this Day in History )

Activities:

Revise the 1st draft of your story and make it more interesting and story-likenot just an introduction to you.

Your story must reveal some truth about YOU!

  1. You are very proud of the experience you had!
  2. You once had obstacles.
  3. Who inspired you and gave you strengths to deal with the problems you had while trying to reach your goal?
  4. Where are you standing now?
  5. What direction are you heading ?

Grading Rubric for this project:

  1. The story focused on ONE specific part of you.
  2. The story must make sense!
  3. You are the protagonist of your story.
  4. There must be at least one paragraph description for each photo.
  5. There must be 7 photos at least for the photo story.

HW#14 Complete the 1st draft of "My Story" photo project. ( either digital or clipped pictures from any magazine or newspaper).
