Using Fireworks to
Create Collages
Objects to Fade In
and Fade Out
- Go to
File-New, create a new document
- Import a
picture
- Click the
picture and go to Edit-Clone
- Window-Layer,
then set the opacity to 0
- Modify-Arrange-Send
to Back
- Edit-Clone
- Modify-Arrange-Send
to Front
- Window-Layer,
press Shift Key and click all three pictures at the same time.
- Modify-Symbol-Tween Instances, set the “steps” to 10 and check the
box of “Distribute to Frames”
3 Dimensional Words
- File-New
- Window-Tools,
select text tool, “A” and create a text
- Convert the
text to symbol by p F8 and choose “Graphic”
- Click the
text, Edit-Clone
- Drag one of
the texts down. Transform-Scale,
make the text smaller.
- Click the
downward text, Window-Object, select “transform as paths”
- Click the
downward text, Window-Layer, set the opacity to 20
- P Shift Key,
and click two texts on the same.
- Modify-Symbol-Tween Instances, set the “Steps” to 10, uncheck the
“Distribute to Frames”
Slow Motion Objects
- File-New
- Window-Tools,
select text tool, “A” and create a text
- Convert the
text to symbol by p F8 and choose “Animation”
- In the
animation property, set the “Frame” to 10 and “Opacity” to 0 to 100
- Drag the red
dot of the animated text down.
- In the 1st
frame, click the text and click Edit-Copy as a Vector
- Window-Frame,
click the 2nd frame.
Paste the text you have copied.
- Click on the
text you pasted and Modify-Animate, set the “Opacity” to 0 to 80
- Go to the 3rd
frame and Edit-Paste
- Click on the
text you pasted and Modify-Animate, set the "Opacity” to 0 to 60
- Go to the 4th
frame and Edit-Paste
- Click on the
text you pasted and Modify-Animate, set the “Opacity” to 0 to 40
- Go to the 5th
frame and Edit-Paste
- Click on the
text you pasted and Modify-Animate, set the “Opacity” to 0 to 20
