Step-by-Step Instructions on Using Fireworks

1. Go to google.com to copy or download images for your graphic (right-click to save or copy)
2. Open Fireworks and go to File (New) and Copy the image on the canvas
3. Each image should be on a different layer( if not show, please go to Window to check Layers)
4. Superimpose: creating layers of images
5. Trim the image: use Magic Wand-> Lower the tolerance number to 10 or less-> click on the bg color you want to remove and hold the  Shift Key and keep clicking on the color until most of the colors are selected. Then delete.
6. Use an eraser( pick a medium-sized brush) to erase the rest of the colors you want to delete.
7. Layer feature:
   • Luminosity
   • Screen
   • Change the opacity: change the number( lower number makes the image fade into the background image; higher number makes the image stand out more on the background image)
   • Screen: ghosting
   • Multiply: to blend the edging into the surrounding background

9. Basic Animation:
   • Find an image to copy onto the canvas
   • Right click to convert onto symbol (make sure to check Graphic)
   • Edit( Clone->Change the opacity to 0-> Press enter
   • Right click to pick Arrange-> Send to Back
   • Edit( Clone)
   • Right Click to choose Arrange-> Bring to Front
   • Control A to select All Symbols
   • Top Menu Bar: Modify-> Symbol-> Tween Instances-> Check the box "Distribute to Frames)
